Wilbar Farms was established in 1924 by John and Mary Willms, who immigrated to Canada from the Ukraine and purchased land near Dundurn, Saskatchewan. The farm has always been a mixed operation of grain with a commercial herd of Hereford, then Angus cattle. Today, Dan and Bonnie Willms operate the grain side of this family farm. The farm has a land base of 10,000 acres of which 7,000 acres is cultivated and 3,000 acres is hay and pasture. The crop rotation includes cereals, oilseeds and pulses.
