Food Evolution Screening
FFC SK hosted a screening and discussion forum of the film documentary Food Evolution at the Broadway Theatre on October 11, 2017. The event was a collaboration with AgWest Bio and the University of Saskatchewan, along with the International Food Policy Research Institute, SAIFood, SaskCanola, Saskatchewan Pulse Growers and Bioriginal.
Directed by Academy Award-nominated director Scott Hamilton Kennedy, Food Evolution addresses people’s skepticism of science in today’s culture, focusing specifically on GMOs.
After the film, FFC SK Executive Director Clinton Monchuk moderated a panel discussion and question period about the film. Panelists included:
